You won’t believe how awesome this little nano flow pump works! Get the whole story here.

Aqamai is Hawaiian for something "smart, cool and intelligent." This describes the new Aqamai KPS wavemaker. Combining Wi-Fi control through the Aqamai app with Koralia DC pump technology, the KPS wavemaker is the smallest pump in its flow category.

The KPS pump uses a patented magnet mount system for easy positioning in the aquarium. A long 79-inch pump power cable makes it easy to install the pump in deep tanks.

The water flow and pulse is programmable through the app (Android and iOS). You’ll be able to choose from pre-programmed environmental modes or you can create your own! The pump control module can be mounted out of the way inside your aquarium stand/cabinet.

LEDs on the module indicate pump status:

  • Yellow: Constant Flow
  • Blinking Orange: Wave Mode
  • Purple: Smooth
  • Green: Random
  • Cyan: Feed
  • Blue: Night

What we really like about the Aqamai KPS Wavemaker:

  • Smallest pump in its class
  • Silent, vibration free operation
  • Cool app and wireless control
  • LED status lights
  • App can also control lighting

Aqamai KPS Wavemaker Features:

  • Adjustable flow rate: 370-1050 gph
  • Dual magnet mounting system
  • Fully programmable
  • Energy efficient: uses 10 watts at maximum flow rate

Aqamai KPS Wavemaker Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 2.5 x 1.88 inches
  • Max glass thickness: 0.59 inch
  • Flow rate: 370-1,050 GPH
  • Rated for 10-50 gallon aquariums

Love it

Pros: So small u barely notice it. Good power.

Easy to Install and set up. App is super straightforward with tutorials. We'll worth the cost for its small real estate in my nano

Excellent Wave Maker

Pros: Works perfectly.

Cons: None.

This little power head has a lot of power. Very easy to control. Not sure why people complain about the WiFi connection and associated difficulties. I am tech challenged and it took me less than 5 minutes to set up everything. My corals are thriving!

Perfect powerhead for a Evo 13.5

Pros: Perfect size for a nano reef rank

Cons: Programming the pump via the app

This is a great powerhead for a fluval Evo 13.5 or any nano tank honestly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I had to call the manufacturer to help program the pump via the app and when I opened the box it was shipped on the box the powerhead comes in was damaged

Pros: Excellent flow, really powerful for its size and really easy to clean

Cons: ive had problems with the magnet but its no issue at all, as long as the surface your putting it on is clean and clear of corraline

I have had the AQAMAI KPS on my Nuvo !0 for a couple months now and am completely happy with it. The price is a big factor for what this little pump can do. The user interface on the app is very easy as i have three settings i switch to when i want to change the flow as desired. If your looking for a good wavemaker without having to spend a lot this is what you need!!

Pros: Little, customizable and powerful for the size

Cons: Was a little tricky to get set-up at first, but it's not that bad once you figure it out

I love this wave maker. It does a really good job and all the settings make things really move. I have it on my 20g and I just use the single pump with great movement. That pump is smaller than the hydor pumps I had before. I use that with a tidal 55 for the best flow I could have asked for. I'm going to be getting the kpm for my 75g build for sure.

Nice pump

Pros: Small, Quiet, Customization, Wifi

Cons: Magnet is weak

I wanted to make sure I gave this a little time before I gave an honest review. Over all very nice pump with a low profile. I am currently running two for a mixed reef on my Red Sea Max 170. I did run one for awhile and although you can get away with one I found two really did the trick with the way my rockscape was set up. With the latest updates there are a lot of preprogramed modes wich make set up easy. I have been running for about 4 months with no issues. The pumps are very quite so if your tank is in the living room like mine you will be a happy camper. They have a wider flow pattern which I like for my setup. The only draw back I would say would be the magnets. They are on the weaker side. They will stay in place but during cleanings a small bump can dislodge it and off it goes.
